Since 2017, the Novotrans Group of Companies has been a member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), a Russian non-governmental organization promoting the interests of the business community.

The President of Novotrans Group of Companies, Konstantin Goncharov is a member of the RSPP Board and the Chairman of the RSPP Commission on Sports and Physical Culture.

The RSPP Commission on Sports and Physical Culture focuses on:

  • -developing corporate sports and mass physical culture
  • increasing the investment attractiveness of sports for business
  • improving conditions for sponsorship activities
  • developing mutually beneficial forms of public-private partnership in the sports industry, including to reduce the burden on the state budget

The Novotrans Group of Companies ensures the operation of the RSPP Russian-Greek Council for Cooperation and Investments.

Since 2017, Konstantin Goncharov, the President of Novotrans Group, has been chairing the Council. In 2018 two meetings of Russian and Greek business circles took place with the participation of top managers from 37 Greek and 44 Russian companies. The activity of the Council was approved by Co-Chairpersons of Mixed Russian and Greece Commission for economic, industrial, scientific and technical cooperation (inter-governmental commission), i.e. by Yevgeny Dietrich, the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, and Georgios Katrungalos, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic.

The Novotrans Group of Companies ensures the activity of the Non-Public Railroad Transport Development Desk created in October 2017 in the Sub-Commission for Transport and Transportation Infrastructure at the RSSP Transport Commission.

Konstantin Goncharov is the head of the Desk.

The Novotrans Group of Companies LLC is an active member of the SRO Union of Railway Operators Market. In June 2018 Konstantin Goncharov, the General Director of Novotrans, was accepted into the Panel of the Union.

On November 28, 2017, following the initiative of the Novotrans Group of Companies, the remaining repair mileage of freight cars used for international transportation was decreased from 10 thousand kilometers to 5 thousand kilometers. Relevant amendments were made in the Maintenance Manual for Operational Cars (Manual for car inspectors), which is the main document that regulates repair mileage on the territory of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic countries.

The General Director of Repair Company Novotrans, LLC, is the member of the Committee for operation issues of infrastructure and freight rolling stock at the Consumer Council on Operations of JSC Russian Railways.
